Bahrain Imams of Mosques: Prayers to be Held in Diraz Despite Crackdown and Siege

Bahrain Mirror: The Imams of Shia mosques in Bahrain announced that Friday Prayers will be held at Imam Sadiq Mosque in Diraz despite the crackdown and strict siege imposed by the authorities, calling for mass participation for the sake of protecting this ritual.
Bahraini authorities have prevented the performance of prayers in the mosque last Friday, as security forces didn't allow the Imam of the largest Shia prayer Sheikh Mohammad Sanqour from reaching the mosque located in the area, upon which the authorities have imposed a strict blockade for over a month. An open rally has been staged since then outside the Bahraini Shia spiritual leader Sheikh Isa Qassim's house.
