Bahrain Mirror: The Bahraini opposition called for a rally in front of the Saudi Embassy in London, to denounce the trial of Bahrain's Shiite spiritual leader Ayatollah Sheikh Isa Qassim.
Organizers said that the protest comes in concurrence with Ayatollah Qassim's first trial scheduled on Wednesday (July 27, 2016) and as part of events to be held in a number of world capitals.
The authorities announced that they will hold Ayatollah Qassim's trial on charges related to Khums (Alms); an obligatory ritual practiced by the Shia, who represent the majority of the population.
