Bahrain Mirror: Bahrain's National Action Democratic Society (Wa'ad) announced that it canceled its seminar that was supposed to be held in its headquarters tonight, Wednesday, July 20, 2016. This decision came after the Society received a letter from the Bahraini Ministry of Justice demanding it to refrain from holding this seminar.
"Based on the communication received by the Secretary General of the Society on Tuesday July 19, 2016, and a letter from the office of Societies' Affairs, and a letter received by Wa'ad from the office of Political Societies' Affairs of the Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments on Wednesday, July 20, 2016; in regards to the seminar scheduled to be held on Wednesday under the title, "Iran from the Inside"; and due to the Ministry's demand in its letter to refrain from holding this seminar and cancel the discussion. The Ministry based its request on Article (13) of the Political Associations' Law, which prohibits "interference in the internal affairs of other countries"; said Wa'ad in an article published on its official website.
Based upon the aforementioned, The National Democratic Action Society (Wa'ad) apologizes for refraining from holding the discussion session entitled "Iran from the Inside", apologizes to its supporters, and reserves the right to legal response.
