Bahrain Mirror: The Bahraini Foreign Ministry expressed its deep regret at the statements made by the British Foreign Secretary, Boris Johnson, and US Secretary of State John Kerry, deeming such statements and stances as "unacceptable" interference in Bahrain's domestic affairs.
Johnson and Kerry had both expressed their concern over the Gulf kingdom's decision to dissolve the country's main opposition group, Al-Wefaq National Islamic Society, also calling on the government to launch a dialogue and return to the path of reconciliation.
The Foreign Ministry further considered the British and US statements as "interference in a decision issued by the Bahraini judiciary that follows all the principles and standards of justice, transparency and independence," also deeming them "unjustifiably biased" towards those who "adopt extremism and terrorism."
