Bahrain Mirror: Bahrain's Ministry of Interior claimed that the statements of the country's senior Shiite clerics were released by foreign unknown groups. Statements were issued by prominent Shiite clerics including: Ayatollah Sheikh Isa Qassim, Sheikh Mohammed Saleh Al-Rabie, Sheikh Abdulhussein Al-Sitri and Sayed Abdullah Al-Ghorafi.
The General Directorate of Anti-corruption and Economic & Electronic Security alleged that via technical follow-up of a number of websites, it was revealed that the statements issued in the names of senior Shiite clerics "are fabricated and released by unknown groups from outside Bahrain to promote sedition and incite people against national interests and unity."
