Bahrain Mirror: A Bahraini activist stated on Wednesday (June 29, 2016) that she was banned from leaving the country via the King Fahd Causeway that connects Bahrain to Saudi Arabia.
"I was prevented from travelling through King Fahd Causeway," tweeted rights activist Ayat Al-Saffar.
The authorities have recently prevented Bahraini journalist Nazeeha Saeed from leaving the island kingdom without giving any explanations for the measure taken against her.
A national delegation was also prevented this month from leaving the country to Geneva in order to take part in the UNHRC regular session.
