US Ambassador to UN Urges Restraint in Bahrain, Calls on Gov. to End Crackdown on Opposition

Bahrain Mirror: The United States Ambassador to the United Nations, Samantha Power urged all Bahraini factions to restraint after the Bahraini authorities revoked the citizenship of Ayatollah Sheikh Isa Qassim, the most prominent Shiite cleric in the country.
"We urge restraint by all after Bahrain revoked Sheikh Isa Qassim's citizenship," Power said on her personal Twitter account, calling on the government to stop its campaign against the opposition "the government must end crackdown on nonviolent dissenting voices," she further stated.
