Bahraini Authorities Arrest Al-Wefaq Shura Member Mahdi Al-Ekri

Bahrain Mirror: The authorities in Bahrain arrested Shura council member of the country's main opposition group, Al-Wefaq National Islamic Society, Mahdi Al-Ekri, on Sunday (June 26, 2016) as he was leaving the open rally area outside Ayatollah Sheikh Isa Qassim's house in Diraz, west of the Bahraini capital Manama.
Reports say that Al-Ekri informed his family that his arrest was made under the pretext of completing a previous sentence of 17 days of detention.
