Bahrain Mirror: Secretary-General of Lebanon's Hezbollah Sayed Hassan Nasrallah did not fail to reiterate stern condemnation of the Bahraini authorities' decision to strip the country's Shia religious leader Sheikh Isa Qassim of his Bahraini citizenship, accusing the Al Khalifa regime of following Saudi Arabia's footsteps.

In a televised address delivered at the memorial ceremony of the slain Hezbollah military commander martyr Mustafa Badreddine, Sayed Nasrallah stressed that "stripping the nationality of the venerable, pure, courageous cleric Ayatollah Sheikh Isa Qassim is an extremely dangerous act."

"The Bahrain movement, since five years ago, remained to be a peaceful popular movement despite being suppressed in the first weeks [...] The Bahraini people didn't resort to violence or wield weapons despite the killings, and arrests of clerics..." he added.

Nasrallah further noted that Al Khalifa have no power in Bahrain, as all decisions come directly from Al Saud, stressing that the ruling Saudi family "rejects any dialogue or political solution in Bahrain, since it opens the door for a movement to rise in Saudi Arabia."

The popular movement in Bahrain didn't divert to the path of violence, although all its figures were thrown behind bars- thanks to Sheikh Qassim and Al-Wefaq Secretary-General Sheikh Ali Salman's leadership, he added.

With regards to the Diraz rally, Nasrallah said: "The village where Ayatollah Qassim lives has turned into a large prison due to the siege imposed by the security forces," praising the Bahraini people's stance supporting Sheikh Qassim.

"Sheikh Isa Qassim receives orders from no one. Al Khalifa are servants who execute the orders of the smallest princes in Saudi Arabia and the British envoy in Manama," he further stressed.

Predicting a decision to force Ayatollah Qassim outside the country, Nasrallah warned that "the world shall be accountable for what happens."
