Bahrain Mirror (Exclusive): Reports revealed that the Bahraini security forces summoned on Wednesday (June 22, 2016) a number of obsequies (Hussainiyahs) administrators and informed them that they will target mourning processions if they portray political views.
The information further revealed that the authorities said that they will not hesitate to use force against mourners if they hold photos of the Shia spiritual leader Ayatollah Sheikh Isa Qassim, who was recently stripped of his citizenship.
Shiites are to commemorate the martyrdom of Imam Ali bin Abi Talib in two days.
"Consider this a serious and direct threat to use force and arrest obsequies administrators," warned the security officials.
