Bahrain Mirror: Lawyer Mohammed Al-Jishi stated on his personal Twitter account that the Bahraini Public Prosecution refused to release the president of Bahrain Center for Human Rights (BCHR) and prominent human rights defender, Nabeel Rajab, and decided to renew his pre-trial detention for 8 additional days.
Last week, the prosecution accused Rajab of publishing false news and decided to arrest him for 7 days pending investigation.
The rearrest of Rajab was criticized by the US and UN as well as many human rights groups.
