Bahrain Mirror: Bahrain's Prime Minister Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa said that the recent actions taken by the Government of Bahrain against violators of laws and regulations come within the context of a bundle of initiatives aimed to ensure the citizens' security and stability and to guarantee sealing any loophole that would allow foreign intervention in Bahrain's domestic affairs.
"Directives have been issued to the respective ministries and governmental agencies stating that they have all the authority to enforce the law on institutions and individuals who've committed violations," he added, stressing that "regional developments require decisiveness and strictly dealing with anybody who ignites the fire of strife."
The Bahraini government decided to suspend the country's main opposition group Al-Wefaq National Islamic Society, as well as the two religious societies Islamic Enlightenment Society (Tawiya) and Al-Risala Society, after raiding their headquarters and confiscating the contents thereof.
