Bahrain PM Calls on Interior Ministry to Take Measures Preventing Escape of Detainees after Prison Break

Bahrain Mirror: Bahrain's Prime Minister Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa called on the Ministry of Interior on Monday (June 6, 2016) to take "the necessary security measures to prevent the escape of detainees or prisoners" after 17 convicts escaped Jaw Central Prison.
The Prime Minister assigned the Interior Minister Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa to conduct the required investigations into the circumstances of the recent escape of a number of detainees, address shortcomings and hold those responsible accountable.
According to the Bahrain News Agency (BNA), the cabinet listened to a security briefing presented on the circumstances of the detainees' escape, and the prompt actions that were taken to handle the incident.
