Bahraini Authorities Arrest Handicapped Youth over Charges of "Rioting"

Bahrain Mirror: The Bahraini authorities arrested a handicapped citizen, who suffers from a disability in his hands. A judge ordered holding him in pretrial detention over charges of taking part in riots.
The detainee is called Sadiq Al-Qamar (22 years old) from Dar Kulaib. His families stated that they have medical reports proving he is of special needs and his hands cannot function normally.
The authorities had taken Al-Qamar in custody, after accusing him of involvement in burning tires and planting hoax explosives.
The family expressed its deep concern over Al-Qamar's condition as he requires special care, stressing that he is innocent. The family also called on the authorities to release him.
