Bahrain Releases Poet Detained over Participation in Speech Festival

Bahrain Mirror: The head of the monitoring and documentation unit at the Bahrain Center for Human Rights (BCHR) Enas Oun said on her personal Twitter account on Monday (April 25, 2015) that the Bahraini authorities released poet Abdulhussein Salman from Nuwaidrat, who was detained on Sunday (April 24, 2016) over taking part in an oratorical festival held on Saturday (April 23, 2016).
The Public Prosecution had decided to detain him for 7 days pending investigation.
