Bahrain Mirror: The Bahraini Ministry of Justice and Islamic Affairs revealed the list of political societies that have received government support in 2015, which clearly shows that it has excluded opposition groups. The Secretary-General of Wa'ad Society Radhi Al-Musawi deemed this decision political.
The Affairs of Political Societies Bureau at the Ministry of Justice said that the total sum of funds granted by the government to political societies in 2015 reached 174,000 Bahraini dinars.
"No funds were granted to any other society than the following: The Islamic Association (Al-Rabitah), National Action Charter, Progressive Democratic Tribune, Free Thought, Islamic Al-Saff Society, National Constituent Assembly, Al-Wasat Arab Islamic Democratic Society, National Islamic Tribune, Islamic Al-Asala Society, National Will and Change Society, Islamic Al-Shura Society, National Dialogue, National Justice Movement, and the National Unity Gathering," the Bureau confirmed in a statement.
