Bahrain Mirror: Bahrain's First High Criminal Court, presided over by judge Hamad bin Salman Al Khalifa with memberships of judges Diaa Huraidi and Isam Eldin Khalil and Naji Abdullah as secretariat, sentenced a Bahraini national (29 years old) to five years in prison after convicting him of harboring three wanted suspects, one of which sentenced to death, at his father's home in the Diraz area.
The court found the defendant guilty of hiding three wanted suspects, while being aware that one of them is sentenced to death and the two others to pre-trial detention.
The Bahraini authorities prosecute anyone who attempted to harbor suspects charged over political issues, who have been sentenced or are wanted by the authorities over their pro-opposition activism.
