Detained Athletes at Jaw Prison Congratulate Infantino after FIFA Election Win & Urge him to Make Effort to Release them

Bahrain Mirror: Bahraini athletes imprisoned at Jaw Central Prison congratulated Gianni Infantino on his victory in the FIFA elections.
In a letter, which Bahrain Mirror managed to receive a copy of, they hoped "his term will be the beginning of the shift and change towards development and countering corruption, lead to a radical transition in the human rights situation in general and athlete rights in particular."
In this address, they sent on February 27, 2016), they urged him to "shed light on all detained athletes in the Kingdom of Bahrain who have been behind bars for five years and whose number reached 120."
They further urged him "to make a serious effort to help release them, since they are political prisoners who have committed no crime."
