Bahrain Mirror: The Secretary-General of the National Adala (Justice) movement, extremist Salafist Mohiuddin Khan, said that the Sunni Endowments (Waqf) in Bahrain ordered Friday preachers to not speak of the decisions made by the government to lift subsidies as well as the high cost of living.
He further stated in a tweet posted on his personal Twitter account on Friday (January 15, 2016) that the endowments directed the preachers to talk about other topics because there are additional decisions to be announced. The decision taken by the government earlier this week regarding the increase of petrol prices has led to a wave of outrage among government advocates, expressed in tweets criticizing the government and Parliament that did not stop the implementation of this decision.
