Legislative Committee: Constitutional Suspicion in Stopping "Retirement" of Bahrainis Stripped of Nationality

Bahrain Mirror: The Chairman of the Legislative and Legal Affairs Committee of the Bahraini Parliament MP Ali Al-Uttaish said that the committee met on Sunday morning (December 20, 2015) and discussed the Decree Law number (36) of 2015, concerning the cessation of retirement rights and benefits in case one's nationality was stripped, lost, revoked or one was given a foreign country's citizenship without permission. After having heard the opinion of the legal counsel, the committee deemed there is constitutional suspicion in the aforementioned decree law.
