Bahrain Mirror: The family of detainee Nasser Yaacoub, residents of Bahrain's Adhari, expressed its concern, as it has received no information about Yaacoub since the day of his arrest. The family stated that it knows nothing about him since over 5 days.
"Nasser was arrested last Saturday (November 7, 2015) at about 6 a.m. from his home. He called his wife after about an hour telling her that he is in the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) and then hung up. One day later, Nasser's wife received a phone call from the Ministry of Interior asking her to prepare a bag including some clothes and hygiene products for her husband and submit it to the CID in Al-Adliya, without receiving any other information about him," said Yaacoub's family.
"We have not received any information about Nasser since the last phone call that only lasted for a few seconds. We also don't know until know the charges brought against him. We are worried about his health because he suffers from Sickle Anemia. We demand that those responsible in the CID allow him to call his wife and family and provide anything the his case requires. Nasser is not linked in anyway to the political events. He is only a eulogy reciter." his family further stated.
