Bahrain Mirror: The Under Secretary of the Bahraini Ministry of Justice and Islamic Affairs, Fareed Al-Muftah, said that the Jaffaria Endowments (Waqf) was handed over 13 (Shiite mosques) from the last list of places mentioned in the report of the Bahrain Independent Commission of Inquiry (BICI) after they were fully constructed, in reference to the Shiite mosques demolished by the Bahraini authorities in 2011.

Al-Muftah added that "a budget of 3,400,000 BD was allocated for this project, pointing out that it is a separate budget that will not affect the construction projects of worship places across the kingdom."
