BCHR: 17 Arbitrary Arrests & 32 Peaceful Protests in Last Week of October

Bahrain Mirror: The Bahrain Center for Human Rights (BCHR) said that it recorded 17 arbitrary arrests within the last week of October 2015, including a woman. Two were later released.
BCHR added that more than 60 citizens were sentenced to a period ranging between 3 to 10 years in prison in last week of October. The sentences reached 252 years i total. 37 trials were also adjourned.
The center also stated that 32 peaceful protests were staged in a number of villages across Bahrain, pointing out that Jebla Habshi was targeted by an anti-Ashura rituals crackdown by security forces.
