UK Parliamentary Delegation Meets with Bahraini Security Officials: “Reforms Reinforced Peaceful Coexistence in Bahrain”

Bahrain Mirror: Bahrain's Interior Minister, Lt-General Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, received on Saturday (October 31, 2015) British parliamentary delegation headed by MP Sir Alan Duncan.
Chief of Public Security, Major-General Tariq Al-Hassan and General Director of Interior Ministry Court, Major-General Riyadh Eid Abdullah also attended the meeting.
The Interior Ministry's website stated that the Interior Minister informed the delegation of the ministry's "efforts to protect security and general order and ensure the safety to all citizens and residents."
It also reported that the meeting reviewed "security cooperation, along with topics of common interest."
According to the ministry's official website, "Sir Duncan hailed the vision of the Interior Minister and progress Bahrain has made since 2011," calling for "the importance to have a closer look into situations in Bahrain before making an evaluation." He further expressed his convincement that "Bahrain is a clear example of peaceful coexistence and the latest adopted reforms have reinforced such atmosphere."
