Bahraini Gov’t Unveils Compensation for Meat Subsidies Lift: 5BD for Breadwinners, 3.5 for Members Older than 15 & 2.5 for those Younger than 15

Bahrain Mirror: The Bahraini government approved the "final" sums of financial compensation that it said will grant to citizens after lifting subsidies on meat, according to what was mentioned in the special website for registering for meat subsidies lift compensations which is affiliated to the Ministry of Development. The website stated that the compensations amounted to "5 BD monthly to the breadwinner, 3.5 BD for the rest of the family members who are older than 15 years and 2.5 BD for those who are younger than 15 years.
Despite the meager compensation amounts, another problem emerged on the first day of registration on the website, as the website failed to register the correct number of family members. Some citizens said that the website excluded their wives or some of their children from receiving the allocated compensation sums.
