Bahrain Mirror: Bahrain's main opposition group Al-Wefaq National Islamic Society demanded on Thursday (August 3, 2015) the release of about 300 detained students, as school doors open next Sunday.
"The natural place of these detained students is in schools and universities not prisons," Al-Wefaq stressed.
Al-Wefaq called on the authorities to release the students from prison before the scholastic year begins, pointing out that "the most appropriate way for rehabilitation, reform and [character] building is to allow these students to take their seats regularly at school and provide them with care as students instead of keeping them behind bars."
