Bahrain Mirror: Bahrain's First High Criminal Court, presided over by judge Dia' Huraidi and the membership of judges Ali Al-Kaabi and Issam-Eldeen Mohammad and Naji Abdullah as secretariat, decided to adjourn the trial of 5 members of security forces: "an officer and 4 policemen" working for drug enforcement administration and accused of torturing detainees in cases of selling and abusing "drugs" to force them into confessing the charges brought against them. The trial of the 5 security officers was adjourned until October 5, in order to listen to the testimonies of witnesses.

It is noteworthy that the same suspects are being prosecuted over two similar cases in which they used the same torture methods with detainees. Their cases are still pending in the high criminal courts.
