PHOTOS: Protests West of Manama Demanding Democratic Transition

Bahrain Mirror (Exclusive): Thousands of Bahrainis took to the streets west of Bahrain's capital, Manama on Friday (August 28, 2015), calling for a democratic transition and putting an end to Al-Khalifa monopoly over power, while condemning the ongoing imprisonment of opposition leaders.
Anti-government protestors chanted slogans that stressed on adhering to the people's demands. They also held photos of the Secretary-General of Al-Wefaq National Islamic Society, Sheikh Ali Salman, demanding his immediate release.
Demonstrators also chanted slogans calling for the release all political prisoners.
Hundreds of Bahrainis staged protests in different areas across Bahrain under the slogan "We will Carry On This Week" which the February 14 Coalition called for "to declare that the Bahrainis are determined to continue their uprising."
