Bahrain Mirror: Head of the minor committee assigned to review the redirection of subsidies and development of government revenues in the Bahraini Parliament, Adel Al-Asoomi, said that the committee met on Sunday (August 23, 2015) and discussed postponing the lift of subsidies until October 2015, so that the Members of Parliament would be able to further consider and study the issue with the competent parties.

Al-Asoomi stressed that the MPs in the committee during the meeting shed the light on the necessity of expediting the creation of a clear vision regarding the redirection of governmental support through a series of discussions and meetings held with officials and relevant parties, aiming at reaching a consensus between the two parties and then presenting the results to the main committee, which in turn with reveal the last decision agreed upon in the Parliamentary committee assigned to review the redirection of subsidies and development of government revenues to the Parliament Speaker and the MPs.
