Bahrain Mirror: The Chief Executive Officer of the American Mission Hospital (AMH) in Bahrain, Dr. George Cheriyan, said "The hospital plans to establish a museum showing a rare collection of collectibles, documents and photos which highlight the dedicated efforts in ensuring healthcare in Bahrain over more than a century."
Cheriyan explained in a statement published on the website "Kalam Saha", that the hospital, established in 1902 "is coordinating with the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (BACA) to draw the preliminary visualization of the museum and make sure that it conforms with the required technical standards for such projects," adding that "hopefully the museum will be housed at the old AHM building in Manama."
