Bahrain Mirror: Bahraini Sheikh Mohammed Sanqoor said that "violence only leads to more violence, worsens the crisis and makes reaching a solution harder," stressing on the people's "legitimate rights that they strive to achieve peacefully." Meanwhile, Sheikh Sanqoor condemned the Sitra bomb blast and confirmed that it does not justify the violations that followed the incident and the contempt against the Shiite sect in the country.
Sheikh Sanqoor stated during his Friday sermon at Al-Sadiq Mosque in Al-Diraz (July 31, 2015) that "adopting violence in all its forms and levels contradicts the religion of the people and their values that they will not give up even if the situation gets harsher (...) Violence only leads to more violence, worsens the crisis and makes reaching a solution harder. Be aware of slipping into this dangerous trend which leads to serious consequences and harm the interest of this country and its people."
"Take a lesson from what happened in other countries. When their opposing parties adopted violence as a way to address their issues, they only complicated them more and thus it become difficult to find out a solution that restores peace and stability to their country after the fighting and killing."
