Bahrain Mirror: Activists on social media said that the authorities refused to allow the entry of the medications of Fadhel Abbas, the Secretary-General of the Unitary National Democratic Assemblage.
Activist Ebtisam Al-Saegh stated that Fadhel Abbas's family affirmed that Abbas is deprived of receiving treatment and medication and having a medical follow up. Calling for his release, his family demanded that the charges brought against him be dropped, and that he'd be allowed to receive treatment. His family also said that it holds the prison's administration accountable if his health condition deteriorates.
It is worth mention that Fadhel Abbas is sentenced to five years in prison over posting a statement by the party he heads in which he announced his opposition to the war on Yemen.
