Bahrain Mirror: Kuwaiti websites reported that on Saturday July 11, 2015, Bahrain handed over a Kuwaiti citizen accused of embezzlement to his country. "The Bahraini security forces arrested a member of the so-called "Fintas Group" at Manama Airport as he attempted to leave to London," according to the Al-Rai newspaper.

The Kuwaiti Public Prosecution charged the arrested Yousef Shamlan Al-Essa with "spreading false information deemed harmful to the country and its security while attacking the members of the judiciary by doubting their financial integrity and accusing them of taking bribes," in addition to "cell phone misuse".

The Al-Rai newspaper explained that the arrest of "Yousef Shamlan Al-Essa was made according to a Kuwait's request who added the names of the so-called "Fintas Group" members who are not currently in the country to the Interpol wanted list. The Public Prosecution interrogated two of the suspects from the so-called "Fintas Group" and released them on 10,000 Kuwaiti dinars bail each, the newspaper further stated.

It is worth mention that the so-called "Fintas Group" is a chat room on WhatsApp. Kuwait's Al-Jadida newspaper said that the "investigations made by the prosecution in the Group case is based on two reports against the suspects. The first was filed by the Ministry of Interior and chairman of Supreme Judicial Council over discovering on a phone of one of the lawyers in the case a "WhatsApp Group" whose members make conversations deemed incriminating according to the state's security law, circulate fabricated videos and resend them to others claiming they are about judges in the constitutional court who received amounts of money after meeting with some officials."
