Bahrain's Public Prosecution renewed on Sunday (April 26, 2015) the detention of the Bahrain Centre for Human Right's president, Nabeel Rajab, for an additional two weeks, pending further investigations over charges of having opposing views.

Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Marziyeh Afkham expressed concern over the extension of Al-Wefaq Secretary-General Sheikh Ali Salman's imprisonment, stressing that "these procedures will not help settling the problems in Bahrain."

Bahrain Mirror: A Bahraini court on Wednesday (April 22, 2015) decided to extend the detention of Sheikh Ali Salman, postponing his trial until May 20, 2015. It was the fourth trial hearing since his arrest at the end of last year.

Bahrain Mirror: Saudi “Al-Yaum” newspaper in its issue published on Wednesday (April 22, 2015) posted a picture of a Bahraini opposition rally staged in the village of “Karana”, claiming that it’s a photo of a protest in Ahwaz area in southern Iran against what it described as “the Persian occupation”.
