Switzerland regretted that Bahrain has not implemented all recommendations of the BICI report and criticized what it called reprisal measures against Human Rights activists and banning their travel to Geneva.

Sweden demanded Bahrain to halt dissolution of opposing political societies and lift restrictions on freedom of association and assembly, especially among Shiite citizens.

The Kingdom of Spain demanded Bahrain to develop a national machinery to combat torture and completely cancel death penalty.

Montenegro welcomed the invitation extended to UN High Commissioner to visit Bahrain, stating that the visit should include Shiite villages. Meanwhile, South Korea demanded the Bahraini Government to proceed in the dialogue to face challenges and recommended it to accept the visit of UN Special Rapporteurs to the country.

Portugal called on the Bahraini government to abolish all the death penalties issued against citizens and lift travel bans imposed on human rights activists.

The United States severely slammed the government of Bahrain and its recent measures against political parties and Shiite clerics.

Qatar praised what it called “Wise Policies” of the government of Bahrain regarding dealing with human rights issues.

Mexico presented number of recommendations to the government of Bahrain, including canceling citizenship revocation laws.

Norway recommended the government of Bahrain to cancel all death penalties, especially those issued based on 2011 events.

New Zealand demanded Bahrain to respect rights of all groups participating in political activism.

Netherlands recommended Bahraini government to cancel the latest constitution amendment that allows military courts to try civilians.

The government of Bahrain delivered a speech in front of the human rights council and slammed the UN High Commissioner and human rights organizations.

Bahraini Undersecretary of Ministry of Labor Sabah Al-Dosari, confirmed that there is a problem in “foreign labor” control through the position of human resources, in the recruitment process in some private sector institutions.
